What Papertrade does

The extension adds virtual paper-trading tools to supported Axiom, GMGN, and Terminal/Padre pages. It uses the supported page to identify the active coin, then requests the public token or pair market data needed to calculate virtual positions and P/L.

All buys, sells, balances, and results shown by Papertrade are simulated. The extension does not submit orders, move funds, connect to wallets, or request wallet addresses, private keys, seed phrases, payment details, or financial-account credentials.

Data handled and stored locally

On supported trading pages, Papertrade may process the page URL and the limited coin identity information needed for its simulator and Dexscreener lookup. It does not build a browsing history or inspect unrelated trading-page content.

The following information is stored with Chrome extension storage:

• Virtual balance, simulated buys and sells, open positions, and realized results.
• Trading history, weighted-average entry data, position links, and journal notes.
• Taxes, slippage tolerances, timing, market-cap floor, SOL/USD rate, Quick Buy, and widget settings.
• Default, Graphite, Matrix, and Phantom-inspired theme preferences.
• Whether the optional seeCA contract-address detector is enabled on X/Twitter.
• Local update-check timing and the latest available extension-update information.

Simulated trading data is not uploaded to a Papertrade account or cloud database. Papertrade does not provide user accounts, its own cloud sync, or a remote trading-history service.

X/Twitter content detection

When seeCA on X is enabled, Papertrade scans loaded X/Twitter post text locally in your browser to detect Solana and EVM contract addresses. It uses detected addresses to display related features such as address summaries, network badges, and copy actions beside posts and on profile pages.

This processing occurs locally in your browser. X/Twitter post text, detected addresses, author handles, and detection results are not sent to Papertrade servers or stored in a Papertrade cloud database. You can turn seeCA on X off in the extension settings.

External services

Papertrade uses a small number of external services for public data and extension maintenance:

• Dexscreener supplies public token and pair market data. A token or pair identifier from a supported page may be sent to Dexscreener to request that public data.
• Coinbase supplies the public SOL/USD spot conversion rate when you use the Live rate button.
• papertra.de is contacted to retrieve current extension version, release-note, and download information so the extension can show an update notice when a newer version exists.

These services and the website host may receive normal technical request information, such as an IP address, request time, browser or network headers, and the requested endpoint. Papertrade does not send your virtual balance, trading history, positions, or journal notes to these services.

Free access and no payment data

Papertrade is free forever. It is free to download and use, and no payment, subscription, trial counter, license key, or Papertrade account is required.

papertra.de does not ask for or process billing information for access to the extension. Installing it through the Chrome Web Store is subject to Google's own terms and privacy practices.

Chrome permissions and site access

storage

Saves virtual trading data, settings, themes, and preferences locally in the browser.

tabs

Finds open supported trading tabs, keeps their simulator state current, reopens saved positions, and opens selected platform or update links. Unrelated tabs are filtered out and are not saved as browsing history.

activeTab

Allows Papertrade to interact with the current supported tab when you invoke the extension.

Site access is limited to supported Axiom, GMGN, and Terminal/Padre pages; X/Twitter pages for the optional local seeCA feature; the Dexscreener and Coinbase public APIs; and the papertra.de update endpoint described above.

Your choices and data deletion

• Use Fresh Start to reset virtual trading progress.
• Use history cleanup to remove eligible older closed-trade records.
• Turn off seeCA on X in extension settings to stop X/Twitter post scanning and remove its injected interface.
• Clear the extension's Chrome storage or uninstall the extension to remove its local data.
• Export a backup before deletion if you want to keep a copy.

Exported backup files remain under your control. Where you save, copy, or share a backup is your responsibility.

Sale, advertising, and Limited Use

Papertrade does not sell personal data, sell simulated trading records, or use trading records for personalized advertising. Data is handled only as needed to provide and maintain the extension's virtual paper-trading features.

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Policy changes and contact

This policy may be updated when Papertrade's features or data practices change. The date at the top will be revised when that happens.
